An Open-Air Stage Between Palms, Pool, and White Pavilions

This open-air event lawn in South Delhi holds up to 250 people for shoots, exhibitions, workshops, baithaks, and gatherings - with a working art gallery as its backdrop. The grass runs wide and level between borders of wild grasses and flowering shrubs, hemmed on one side by a raw concrete wall that photographs like a brutalist canvas, and on the other by palms rising forty feet into the open sky.

The architecture does quiet work at every edge. White modernist pavilions with glass walls glow at the lawn's perimeter, a woven-canopy umbrella shades a sculptural lounger, and the ground shifts from grass to a red-tiled deck wrapping a long blue pool - floating stone steps crossing the water, a canopied daybed sitting on its own island. As evening comes, bollard lights switch on along the green and the pavilions turn lantern-like behind the trees.
